Douglas Herman Ostergard of Vancouver, Wash., died May 5, 2016 in Peace Health Hospital. He was 49.

He was born April 30, 1967, in Seattle to Herm and Donna Ostergard. He grew up in Portland, Ore., and married Vicki Porter of Carbonado on July 28, 1990.

He is survived by his wife; his parents; sons Garrett of Vancouver and Rudy of Bellingham, Wash.; grandmother Mae Beebe; brother Mark (Charmea); and other family.

A celebration of his life is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Adventist Community Church, 9711 N.E. St. John’s Rd., Vancouver, Wash. 98665.
