Sherry Marie Child of Enumclaw died Aug. 21, 2013, at the age of 70.

She was born Oct. 20, 1942, in Sumner, Wash., graduated in 1961 from Enumclaw High School and worked as a receptionist at the Enumclaw hospital. She loved her family and her cats.

She is survived by mother Violet “Vi” Simensor of Enumclaw; sons Scott Marlow and wife Julie of Puyallup and Steven Marlow and wife Chrissy of Enumclaw; sister Lynn Montgomery; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by father Stanley E. Child.

A memorial service took place Aug. 27, 2013, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home.
