The past week’s meets against Bonney Lake and Steilacoom brought in scores of 118-50 and 96-80, respectively.

Madison Munger qualified for the state tournament in yet another event, with a 50-yard freestyle time of 26.09 seconds against Bonney Lake.

Ashley Huynh qualified for state in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 breaststroke with best times of 2 minutes, 22.60 seconds, and 1:12.16.

Alicia Ditty is close to crossing over from district to state qualification in the 100 Backstroke, but her times continue to hover just above 1:08.00.

District qualifiers are Kallan Gustafson in the 100-, 200- and 500 Freestyle races, the 200 IM, and the 100 Butterfly; Petria Russell in the 500 freestyle and 200 IM; and Iliana Kaiser in the 100 Backstroke and 50 Freestyle.

A large number of Spartans continue to achieve significant time drops compared against the beginning of the season. With four weeks left on the regular season in South Puget Sound League 2A, don’t be surprised to see more Spartan names making the postseason cut.
