The Sumner High School boys swim and dive team absorbed a 121-67 loss Thursday at Enumclaw High School's home pool.

The Sumner High School boys swim and dive team absorbed a 121-67 loss Thursday at Enumclaw High School’s home pool.

Top performers were Connor Powers-Hubbard, Leandro Olivieri, Josh Goodsell; each took first place in their competitive categories.

Powers-Hubbard took first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1 minute, 56.03 seconds. Additionally, he took second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.23.

Powers-Hubbard, Goodsell, Olivieri and Sam Parks took second in the 200-meter medley relay with a time of 1:58.43. Sumner also took second in the 400-freestyle relay with a time of 3:55.98; Powers-Hubbard joined Olivieri, Goodsell and Devin Drobney.

Olivieri took first in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.74 seconds. He took second in the 100 freestyle in 56.87 seconds.

Goodsell was first in the 500 freestyle, with a time of 6:15.97.

The Spartans dive back in Friday when they compete at SPSL subdistricts.
