The Spartans advanced in the post-season games by beating Central Kitsap 50-36 on Feb. 13.

Sumner’s next game will be Wednesday, Feb. 18, at 7:45 p.m. at Rogers High School in Puyallup.

Enumclaw High’s lacrosse team improved to 11-3 overall with a Thursday night victory over the visiting Sumner Spartans. The nonleague contest saw the Hornets jump on top early and coast to a 17-10 win. Success is nothing new to the the Enumclaw crew that captured a Class 2A/1A state title a season ago.
