Winners

The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and Auxiliary 1949 announced its winners for this fall's elementary school essay contest. Shelby Champ placed first at Sunrise Elementary and first at the district level. Her essay will go on to compete at the state VFW convention in January. Lauren McKeever was a first-place winner at Southwood Elementary and placed second at the district level.
