DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
• Police responded to a domestic violence call in the 8300 block of Meyers Road June 17. Officers discovered an argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend over a $200 phone bill and other issues. No arrests were made and both told police they would seek a protection order against each other.
THEFT WITH INTENT TO SELL
• A 39-year-old Tacoma man was arrested June 13 after he was stopped by police for having an unsecured load of shipping pallets in his truck. Police reported they watched a 1988 Chevrolet truck leave the parking lot of a store in the 9200 block of 214th Avenue about 10:45 p.m. They stopped the truck on state Route 410. They found the driver had expired proof of insurance and no registration. He was arrested for first-degree theft with intent to resell and was booked in the Pierce County Jail in Buckley.
THEFT OF MAIL
• A Bonney Lake resident reported to police June 13 that four personal checks were removed from her mailbox. The case is under investigation.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD
• A Bonney Lake woman reported to police June 13 that a person stole her credit card information and purchased more than $2,600 worth of items. The women reported her card stolen to her bank and the case is under investigation. She told police she can assist prosecutors with the case.
THEFT
• On June 13, a loss prevention officer at a store in the 19200 block of state Route 410 took into custody a 34-year-old Lake Tapps woman after she was caught pushing a shopping cart of merchandise from the store. When police arrived, they discovered the woman had two outstanding felony warrants for her arrest. She was arrested for theft and transported to the Buckley jail.
THEFT
• An espresso stand employee reported a tip jar was taken June 12. The female employee told police approximately $10 was in the jar. She described the suspect as a male approximately age 18 and driving a red Susuki Aerio. A nearby surveillance video camera captured the car traveling through the drive-in. The case is under investigation.
THEFT
• A 41-year-old woman was arrested June 11 and charged with theft, alleged to have taken two bottles of wine from a store in the 21000 block of state Route 410. She was taken to the Buckley jail.
