BLHS SWIM AND DIVE: Panthers close out season

The Bonney Lake High girls swim and dive team closed out its season Saturday at the South Puget Sound League 2A meet in Auburn.

The 200-yard medley relay of Ali Ehle, Emily Romano, Hanna Anderson and Tosha Vance finished fifth with a time of 2 minutes, 27.63 seconds, a bit slower than their 2:18.12 preliminary time.

Anderson earned a seventh-place finish in the 200 individual medley. Romano was also one of the Panthers’ top finishers with a seventh-place finish in the 100 butterfly.

Only those swimmers who have posted district times at the league meet or throughout the season advance to the West Central District meet Nov. 5 and 6 in Renton.
