EHS DECA heads to state

A number of Enumclaw High School students recently qualified to compete at the state DECA competition March 3-5 at the Meydenbauer Convention Center in Bellevue.

Students presented their 11-page manuals and other projects at to judges at area competition Jan. 12 and 13.

Arantxa Ruiz placed fourth in entrepreneurship, while sisters Allie and Katie Larrea also earned fourth for their advertising campaign.

Ariella Almanzor finished sixth in the advertising campaign category.

Also going to state with their 35-page manuals are: Haley Mae Dennis and Anna DeGroot with a community service project; Kaleith Mitchell with a Learn and Earn project; and Matteo Molieri, Dallas Glasgow and Morgan Pavlovich, also with a community service project.
