Bonney Lake Baseball: Panthers out after first round Columbia River loss

Bonney Lake High’s Baseball team lost 11-2 to Columbia River on Tuesday at the West Central/Southwest 3A Bi-District Tournament. The postseason is now over for the Panthers, who ended the regular season third-ranked in South Puget Sound League 3A.

Columbia River frontloaded six run s in the first four innings, then dispatched a five run coup de grace in the sixth and seventh. Bonney Lake’s two runs were both gained in the third inning.

Michael Gretler batted in a run with a double in the bottom of the third inning.

Joey Gamache was the starting pitcher, with Mike Gould coming to relieve him mid-game and Nate Potterf closing out.
