Spartans swat Hornets 1-0 | Sumner Baseball

Sumner’s baseball team raked in a 1-0 win against the White River Hornets Monday night in conference play.

The run was earned in the third inning.

Tysen Fischlin, who completed with 1-RBI, went to bat three times and connected twice.

On the mound, winning pitcher Christian Parsons served seven innings and struck out the Hornets 11 times.

The Spartans were scheduled to play the Hornets again Tuesday.
