Giving thanks | Sumner Mayor Update

The following is written by Sumner Mayor Dave Enslow:

Whether you’re with family or friends, I hope you enjoy a wonderful day of giving thanks.  Here in Sumner, we have plenty for which to be thankful.

We now have the biggest YMCA in the state to work off pumpkin pie.  We have a thriving Main Street that has welcomed many new stores and restaurants this past year.  We have schools where kids are encouraged to serve others.  And we have businesses building things here, providing lots of jobs to support thousands of families.

Please enjoy your Thanksgiving, and on Friday, help us kick off the holidays with a bang at Bridge Lighting at The Old Cannery.

Then, on Saturday, you can take care of all your holiday shopping in festive Downtown Sumner for Small Business Saturday.  And, if you need a poinsettia, they’re raised right here.  For a holiday season in Sumner that promises to be full of fun, music and light, I’m truly thankful.
