Hornets sting Sumner Spartans

Both teams stepped on the flooe with a clean record the evening of Sept. 12, when Enumclaw High hosted the Sumner Spartans in nonleague volleyball action.
Things went four games and, in the end, it was the host Hornets celebrating a victory at Chuck Smith Gymnasium.
On the Hornet’s side of the net, Emily Miller, Sydney Brazier, Jesslyn Huizenga and Lauren Hanson each had seven kills.
Miller also had 23 assists and five aces.
