SINGLE EVENTS
Sept. 1
Black Diamond Labor Days: Black Diamond’s annual Labor Days festival is Sept. 1 and 2 this year, featuring “Doggy Days”, pie and jam contests, games, and a free movie on Sept. 1, and the ever-popular parade the morning of Sept. 2. For a full schedule of events, head to blackdiamondlabordays.org.
Ten Trails movie night: The Ten Trails neighborhood is hosting a showing of “TMNT Mutant Mayhem” on Sept. 1, starting at sunset.
Sept. 13
Hometown Hoedown: The Ten Trails neighborhood is hosting its annual Hometown Hoedown on Sept. 13, featuring food and dessert trucks, local vendors, a beer garden, axe throwing, kids activities, and live music.
Sept. 14
Beautify Enumclaw and Buckley: The annual Beauty Enumclaw and Buckley events are scheduled for Sept. 14 to celebrate Worldwide Day of Service (Sept. 11). In Enumclaw, the event starts at 8:30 a.m. at the city’s Veterans Memorial Park; in Buckley, things kick off at 9 a.m. at the Youth Center.
Farmer’s Daughter Market: Thomasson Family Farm is hosting a free Farmer’s Daughter Market featuring local vendors. The farm will also now be open to the public on the weekday and weekends; for more information or to buy tickets, to go thomassonfarm.com.
Sept. 17
Square Dancing: Buckley’s Spinners Square Dance classes are starting Sept. 17. The classes take place on Tuesday evenings, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Buckley Hall. Classes are $6 a lesson. Friday dances (7 to 9:30 p.m.) are $8 per event. Students are encouraged to attend each class, as new skills will be covered sequentially (there are other local classes on different days if you miss one). All ages are welcome. Sept. 28
White River bridge celebration: The White River pedestrian bridge connecting Enumclaw to Buckley via the Foothills Trail will be officially open on Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. There will be live music, free food, and family activities.

BBQ Brews & Brats: The Enumclaw Expo Center is hosting its second-annual BBQ Brews & Brats event on Sept. 28 and 29. There are multiple ways to participate, from getting the full tasting experience (beer tasting glass, drink tickets, and food tickets) for $35 to youth tickets (one starter BBQ ticket) for $5. RECURRING EVENTS
Brewskis with a Newsie: Come meet your local journalists on every first Wednesday of each month at Cole Street Brewery (1627 Cole Street, Enumclaw) from 5 to 6 p.m. This is an informal event where residents can pitch stories, fact-check articles, and talk shop. Coffee with the Mayor: Enumclaw Mayor Jan Molinaro hosts a Coffee with the Mayor on the first Mondays of the month from 9 to 10 a.m. This is a casual session for citizens to meet with me and discuss issues, concerns, and projects.
Cancer Support Group: The Plateau Prostate Cancer Support Group, which is open to everyone diagnosed with any cancer and their loved ones, is meeting at the Enumclaw airport every second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
