A man died at Flaming Geyser State Park last Friday.

On Sept. 21, Puget Sound Fire reported multiple agencies, including Mountain View Fire and Rescue and the Enumclaw Fire Department were on-scene for a river rescue at the park around 7 p.m.

However, despite the use of rescue swimmers, kayaks, and a Guardian One helicopter, the man, identified by the King County Medical Examiner as Juan Macias Martinez, 28, died at the scene, PSF posted at 8:20 p.m.
