In non-league action Jan. 12, the Panthers edged Timberline of the Western Cascade Conference, 93-92, in Lacey.

Cody Steiert won the 200 and 500 freestyle for Bonney Lake. The junior won the 200 in 2:08.75 and 500 in 6:00.39.

Eben Sarver won the 50 freestyle race in 25.53 second and Zach Pettit was second in 26.14.

Pettit also finished second in the 100 breaststoke in 1:20.00.

The Panthers’ 200 freestyle relay team won with a time of 1:46.96. The relay team consisted of Steiert, Jake Gould, Pettit, Sarver and Zach Gould.

Andrew Allen, Zach Bordelon, Pettit and Brian Duckett took second in the 200 medley relay in 2:11.84, while Sarver, Duckett, Gould and Steiert were second in the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 2:56.06.

Gould was second in the 200 freestyle in 1:13.43 and Nathan Scott took second in the 500 freestyle in 6:42.93.

In the diving competition, Tim Eckhart finished second with 137.3 points, Josiah Hartom was third (93.5) and Eric Smith took fourth (92.7).
