SUMNER/BONNEY LAKE WATER POLO: Spartan-Panther crew gelling

Aubrey Bachmann scored two goals for the Bonney Lake-Sumner girls water polo team March 16 in a 27-6 loss to Auburn Riveride.

The Ravens returned an entire team, while the Spartan-Panther combination was relatively green. Three played last season and eight are new to the game, including Elise Duncan, who used her speed to score a goal.

First-year players Brenna Allsop and Stefani Teista and Ali Bryant, each scored a point.

Jessica Ross served as goal keep, while Carrie Miller played a great defense guard, coach Diana Ekstrom said.
