New ‘Get Hired’ fall schedule begins Nov. 3 | Pierce County Library System

Free job search workshops, classes and programs at Pierce County Libraries will begin on Nov. 3.

These classes and resources are designed to help people get the job or career they want are offered free through Pierce County Library System’s brand new Get Hired program.

Learn how to write an effective resume and cover letter, use the Cloud to find a job and prepare for interviews. Brush up on computer skills or start at the beginning in a welcoming environment. Get answers to technology questions and ask a job-search expert for help. All free with a Pierce County Library System card.

Pierce County Library’s Get Hired program also offers online job-search resources that list available positions and employers throughout the country, walk you through job-search planning, provide information about jobs in different industries, offer practice tests, help with networking and help finding the job you’re most suited for.
