Ten students were recently awarded $500 or $1,000 scholarships through Enumclaw Regional Hospital.
Students from Enumclaw High School receiving scholarships, their future college and field of choice, were: Abraham Kellogg, Pacific Lutheran University, registered nurse/advanced registered nurse practitioner; Stephanie Schreiner, Eastern Washington University, registered nurse; John Andrew, dentistry or medicine; Kailyn Kenney, pediatrician; and Megan Olsen, oncologist.
Enumclaw High student Heather DeRosa and White River High student Tiffany Pope were awarded Louis Gage Memorial Scholarships. DeRosa plans to study nursing, while Pope is looking for a career as a dental assistant.
White River’s Ariana Huthmacher also earned a scholarship. She plans to attend Bellevue College to study to be an ARNP. Classmate Katherine Siewert, who plans to study nursing, received the Jean Gillespie Nursing Scholarship.
Auburn Adventist Academy student Morgan Stephan also earned a scholarship and plans to attend Walla Walla University to study neurology.
