With no surprise Governor little Bobby Ferguson signed the biggest tax increase in state history. I guess Democrats have zero ability to say no to anyone with their hand out asking for free tax payer money. I guess Democrats have no ability to cut anything in government to balance the budget (except police). Despite raking in hundreds of millions of new taxes from the communist climate control law, they blew out the budget. They have no ability to budget responsibly.
Are you aware that gas prices are the lowest in four years across the nation, except Washington? That’s due to new taxes. The Democrats in Olympia will blame greedy oil companies. Wait until winter when just like Ebonezer Scrooge, they will demand more money from you to heat your home. But hey, all you need to do is spend $75,000 for solar panels to power your home when it is cloudy 99% of the time. Pathetic.
When will citizens finally have enough? Democrats tax the hell out of us, then they over spend and tax us more citing “precious government services”. Government services like giving illegal aliens free food, free housing, free health care, free education and free legal protection from that meany Donald Trump and ICE. Yes, even illegal aliens that commit murder, rape, drug trafficking and human trafficking are protected by Democrats.
Our local Democrat representatives are part of the problem. Thanks to the Democrats gerrymandering of district lines, Enumclaw is now in a blue district.
When will the opinion writers of the Enumclaw Courier-Herald ever write a hard hitting piece against the Democrat majority? Richard Elfers was non stop the last four years about how mean Trump was. But Elfers and Editor Ray Miller-Still were silent about Biden and to no one’s surprise they are silent about the heavy handed rule of state Democrats. Go find other work if you can’t fight against corrupt and immoral politicians like Washington democrats. Pathetic.
I guess we all have to be one percenters like Larry Benson and Stan McKie who are happy to pay higher taxes to help someone. Good for them for making their money back in the 80’s and 90’s when taxes and regulations were less oppressive.
Then there’s reality. Just like California, you will see a caravan of tax payers, small businesses and corporations fleeing Washington. Jobs and tax sources will leave. And Democrats will sit around wondering why the tax payers and job creators are leaving. I guess they can sit in a circle in a mutual masturbation party proclaiming how smart they are, how caring they are and darn it, how much people like them.
