Two corrections and four trial updates.

CORRECTION: In the article “Ground broken on Buckley’s new Doc Tait pavilion,” published March 26, the Courier-Herald misreported Douglas “Doc” Tait’s year of death. Tait died in 2003, not 2009. The online article has been updated.

CORRECTION: In the article, “Black Diamond again studies fire, emergency services options,” published March 19, the Courier-Herald misreported the potential cost of annexing into the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority’s fire district. While the fire district does have a maximum levy rate of $1, there is also a separate fire benefits charge of up to 50 cents. The article has been updated.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial of Joseph Hefner, accused of child rape, has been rescheduled from March 21 to May 5.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial of Joshua Eixenberger, accused of first degree theft of copper cable, has been rescheduled from March 31 to April 18.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial of Andrew Baim, accused of murdering Ravensdale resident Nick Valison, has been rescheduled from April 7 to July 21.

TRIAL UPDATE: The trial of Kimberly Meinen, accused of a fatal hit and run, has been rescheduled from April 14 to May 19.
