On May 7 officers were called to a report of windows and a sliding glass door being open at a residence. The reporting party told officers all the windows and the door were shut when they left the house that morning.
Police were told at 5:34 p.m. May 11 of people engaged in inappropriate physical activity inside a car parked on Myrtine Street. An officer made contact and explained “indecent exposure” laws to the couple, who agreed to head indoors.
Following a traffic stop just before midnight on May 9, a motorist was arrested for driving under the influence and reckless endangerment. A child was turned over to a parent and the automobile was impounded. The incident occurred at Griffin Avenue and Farrelly Street.
Police responded to a city auto dealership May 6 after hearing of a man who was unsure how he got to the business and also was uncertain how to get home. Medical aid was called for and the man was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital.
Copper was reported stolen May 5 from a construction site on Garrett Street. There were no immediate suspects.
