A woman was killed July 2 in roll-over accident south of Orting.

The accident happened on Orville Road when an SUV rolled several times and struck a tree, reported the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s office identified the woman as Angel Bunce, 37, address unknown, who was was found dead after the driver told medics there was a second person in the vehicle before he later died from injuries.

An Internet search posted a Sumner address listing for Bunce.

When emergency personnel arrived at the scene during the early morning hours, they found 41-year-old Lacy L. Wilbert, address unknown.

Hours later, police used a search dog who found the woman a short distance from the accident. The sheriff’s department reported the man and woman were not wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. The crash is still under investigation.
