Local Riley Carel takes second in tie down roping at Pro Rodeo

The Enumclaw Expo Center was filled with hooting and hollering for all the men and women competing in the annual Pro Rodeo last weekend.
The rodeo always features a few locals — this year was Chance Brock, Cody Seldal, Trevor Williams, Peyton Anderson, Emmie Giger, Sean Richerd, Henry Crawford, James Delp, Krystal Pennington, Josh Jacobs, and Riley Carel, who was recently featured in the Courier-Herald.
Carel placed second in the tie down roping event with a time of 9.3 seconds, netting him more than $1,800. Also, Cody Seldal and Brock Chance placed seventh in team roping with a time of 8.9 seconds, winning $407 each.
There were 279 entries this year.
