Enumclaw welcomes March farm expo

Puget Sound-area rural landowners can get the most current information on livestock, crop and resource technologies, land management and more at the third annual Small Farm Expo in Enumclaw.

The show will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., March 27, at the at the King County Fairgrounds. Admission is free.

The Small Farm Expo has expanded this year to include landscaping information in addition to livestock and crop production resources. The Expo will feature hands-on demonstrations, exhibits, educational presentations, vendors and more.

Highlights of the Expo will include:

€ Presentations on topics such as drought-tolerant garden plants, recognizing beneficial insects, as well as mud, manure and pasture management.

€ Landscaping, crop production, and livestock vendor displays and equipment.

€ Exhibits and demonstrations on crop production and livestock (including horses).

€ Advice from experts at the WSU Puyallup Research and Extension Center, Washington State Department of Agriculture and King Conservation District.

€ King County 4-H sponsored youth poultry show.
