The Spartan girls took North Kitsap 45-35 in the first game for Sumner in the West Central District playoffs at Lakes High.
Sophomore Jamie Lange lead the scoring for the Spartans with a dominating performance in the paint.
Sumner will play Olympic High School at 4:15 p.m. Saturday at Foss High.
